Coquitlam BC – Looking to build confidence, improve public speaking skills, and unlock your full potential? Talk of the Town Toastmasters Coquitlam Club invites the community to its upcoming Spy-Halloween Themed Open House on Tuesday, October 27, from 12 noon to 1 p.m. at Room 111 of Coquitlam City Hall.
The event offers an opportunity to discover how Toastmasters helps individuals strengthen their communication, presentation, and leadership skills in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Adding to the excitement, club Vice-President of Public Relations Jehnel Wong recently earned recognition on the international stage. Deeply honoured to be selected as a featured speaker for the “Club Meeting Experience” at the Toastmasters International 2026 World Convention in Vancouver, Wong capped off the remarkable experience by winning the prestigious Best Speaker Award.
Her achievement highlights the confidence, dedication, and communication skills that Toastmasters strives to develop among its members.
On behalf of the club, Wong welcomes guests interested in overcoming the fear of public speaking, improving their presentation skills, and pursuing personal growth.
Guests are always welcome! Please RSVP by October 20 by contacting Club President Edward Si at siweigang@gmail.com.
