MANILA, Philippines — Former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate Michael Sager is returning to the reality show, this time stepping as one of the hosts of “Pinoy Big Brother Collab 3.0.”
Sager, who was a housemate in “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 1.0” in 2025, revealed the news on Instagram, expressing his gratitude for the opportunity to take on a new role in the franchise.
“Hello Philippines, hello world, we are so back! Grateful to be given a new task by Kuya … this time as his host,” Sager wrote.
Sager, dubbed the “Diligent Wonder Son ng Marinduque” during his stint as a housemate, spent 49 days inside the “Big Brother” house alongside various duo partners before his eviction.
His return marks another chapter in his “Pinoy Big Brother” journey, more than a year after he competed as a housemate.
For “Pinoy Big Brother Collab 3.0,” Sager joins a hosting lineup that brings together Kapamilya and Kapuso talents, including Bianca Gonzalez, Robi Domingo, Melai Cantiveros-Francisco, Enchong Dee, Alexa Ilacad and Gabbi Garcia.
Sager is the latest addition to the lineup and the first former housemate from the recent “Celebrity Collab” editions to take on a hosting role.
Meanwhile, Kim Chiu is taking a hiatus from hosting duties this season after eight years with the show.
The newest season follows “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0,” which concluded in February 2026 with duo Caprice Cayetano and Lella Ford emerging as Big Winners.
The previous edition, “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 1.0,” which aired in 2025, crowned Brent Manalo and Mika Salamanca, popularly known as “BreKa,” as its Big Winner duo. (I. Iglesisa/Manila Times)
