On August 16, 2026, the Rotary Club of Vancouver Mountainview (RCVM) held its Picnic for EREY held andhosted by Dr. Gloria Samosa and Pacifico Alegro, who welcomed RCVM members to their home for an afternoon and evening of fellowship.
From 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, members enjoyed a relaxed potluck gathering, sharing food and good company.
The picnic highlighted RCVM’s continued support for Every Rotarian, Every Year (EREY), an initiative of The Rotary Foundation that encourages Rotarians to contribute to the Foundation’s Annual Fund each year. As part of the initiative, each RCVM members contributed $35.00 for EREY.
The successful gathering was a wonderful reminder that Rotary is not only about service, but also about fellowship, generosity, and making a difference together.
