The Filipino Canadian Construction Society (FCCS) successfully held its Annual Picnic on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Barnet Marine Park from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The event was a wonderful celebration of friendship, camaraderie, and community spirit.

The gathering was led by President Armand Perez, together with Vice President 1 Neil Onaya, Vice President 2 Ellena Palma, Founder Amado Mercado Jr., Secretary Amy Gutierrez, PRO Wilson Yap See, Business Manager Heidi Ng-Liang and the FCCS officers and directors.

Members, families and community supporters enjoyed a yummy feast featuring the crispy and delicious Cebu Lechon from Edwin Tumamak, kaldereta, palabok, pancit, beef with broccoli, beef pares with fried rice, laing, lumpiang gulay, tempura, siomai, empanada, fish balls, chicken feet, ginataang bilo-bilo, sago at gulaman, assorted bread, cassava cake, and many other delicious dishes.

The FCCS officers and directors extend their heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended and helped make this year’s Annual Picnic a memorable success. FCCS looks forward to bringing everyone together again next year
