Vancouver-based blogger Kaye, famously known online as Yothatssobomb, continues to share her love for delicious food, exciting adventures, and cool things to do. With roots from Angeles, Pampanga, Kaye recently featured a Filipino restaurant that satisfied her craving for authentic Filipino flavors.
When she heard of this local spot serving traditional Filipino dishes, Kaye said she immediately wanted to visit because she had been craving Filipino food. Her food adventure brought her to Pinoy Cravings, located along Edmonds Street in Burnaby, British Columbia.
“Today we’re at Pinoy Cravings, and I’m certainly a Filipino who has been craving Filipino food,” Kaye shared.
The restaurant has been open for about a year and a half and offers a wide menu filled with classic Filipino favorites. Kaye enjoyed dishes such as the tender Pork Humba, rich and savory Kare-Kare, flavorful Ensaylada with Lechon pork, creamy beef bone marrow, and their overloaded Lomi packed with kikiam, fish ball, shrimp, and noodles.
She also recommended the Ginataang Bilo-Bilo for dessert, it was served warm made with sweet potato, tapioca, and jackfruit.
During her visit, Kaye also met the owners — Sherwyn, Audrey & Roy Lim, Jienelyn, and Rowena, along with master cook Roland and manager JM. Some of them were also preparing for their separate meeting regarding the upcoming comeback event of Rey Valera in September.
For Yothatssobomb blogger, Pinoy Cravings was truly a delicious and memorable “bomb” experience.
