ABS-CBN has launched a new global campaign encouraging overseas Filipinos to stay connected with their families in the Philippines through its streaming platforms Kapamilya Online Live and iWant, as the media company continues to expand its digital reach worldwide.

The campaign, “Together Forever,” highlights how overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) are using online streaming to bond with loved ones despite the distance by watching ABS-CBN programs together in real time.

In a campaign video released recently, the company featured stories of Filipinos abroad who turn to Kapamilya Online Live on YouTube and the iWant app to watch their favorite television shows with family members back home, whether while commuting, at work breaks or from their homes overseas.

ABS-CBN said the initiative reflects the growing role of digital platforms in helping Filipinos abroad remain connected to home through entertainment and news content.

Kapamilya Online Live, the company’s livestreaming platform, streams ABS-CBN’s current programs and classic titles through the ABS-CBN Entertainment YouTube channel, which has 54.8 million subscribers. The platform offers free streaming on mobile devices and connected TVs, along with video-on-demand access for replay viewing.

Among the programs available on the service are primetime dramas “Blood vs Duty” and “The Alibi,” noontime variety show “It’s Showtime,” flagship newscast “TV Patrol,” and weekend game shows “Kapamilya Deal or No Deal” and “Everybody, Sing!”

ABS-CBN said viewers will also soon be able to watch the upcoming action-drama series “Coco Martin’s Sigabo,” starring Coco Martin and Julia Montes, through the platform.

The livestreaming service also features a live chat function that allows viewers from different countries to interact while watching programs simultaneously. (Malaya  Entertainment)
