Caring Hearts Dentistry Society dental and humanitarian mission brings smiles to Lipa City Community by giving free dental services. The outreach program uplift thousands through a Rotary-led collaboration undertaking.
With hearts united in service, the Caring Hearts Dentistry Society (CHDS), in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Richmond Sunrise, the Rotary Club of Lipa, Philippine Air Force Civil Military Operations Group and Armed Forces of the Philippines Health Service Command (AFPHSC) led by Dr. Eisen M. Perdido successfully conducted a three-day Dental Mission from January 26 to 28, 2026 at Lipa Academy of Sports, Cultural and Arts, bringing renewed smiles and hope to underserved communities. The mission delivered essential dental services including free oral tooth extractions and restorative treatments and oral prophylaxis to thousands of beneficiaries. A total of two thousand two hundred eleven (2,211) dental treatment procedures has been made during the three-day activity.
CHDS, in partnership with Rotary clubs, delivers free treatment, promotes prevention, and underscores the link between oral and overall health in underserved communities
The program also highlighted the importance of early intervention and prevention. By fostering strong oral health habits among children, the mission aimed to set the foundation for lifelong wellness. Through oral health education, disease prevention strategies, and the application of Minimal Intervention Dentistry, the team worked to reduce the prevalence of dental caries, particularly in early childhood.
Equally emphasized was the connection between oral health and mental well-being. CHDS believes that “a happy mouth contributes to a happy mind,” underscoring the role of dental care in boosting self-esteem and enhancing quality of life across all ages, especially in underserved populations.
Beyond clinical services, the mission extended compassion in meaningful ways. Caring Hearts Dentistry Society organized a feeding program and distributed gifts to two hundred (200) street children such as hygiene kits, stuff toys, various school supplies, assorted beverages and Jollibee meals, creating moments of joy and reminding them that they are valued and cared for. A Jollibee Mascot added delight and fun in the event.
Through projects like this, the Caring Hearts Dentistry Society continues to inspire lasting change, advocating for the essential role of oral health in achieving a better quality of life. As the mission concludes, its impact endures in every smile restored and every life uplifted. Service is Love in Action indeed.
