Community Dinner Of Remembrance Brings Together Families And Supporters In Honor Of Lapu-Lapu Festival tragedy Victims

Blake Richards, M.P. for Airdrie–Cochrane, flew in from Calgary on behalf of the Parliament of Canada and the Conservative Party of Canada to present this recognition to United Filipino Canadians Associations in British Columbia (UFCABC), Cebuano Society of Canada/Lapu-Lapu Society of British Columbia, Diversity Inclusion Support Group of BC, Seniors Intercultural Society of BC. It honours their unwavering service, dedication, and compassion in supporting the Filipino community, and their meaningful efforts in remembering the victims and uplifting the survivors of the April 26, 2025 Lapu-Lapu Festival tragedy.
