The United MassKara Cultural Society of BC (UMCSBC) celebrated its 10th anniversary with a special celebration and fundraising event, honouring a decade of promoting Filipino culture, community unity, and charitable outreach.
President Agnes Uguil thanked all officers, members, sponsors, volunteers, guests, and community organizations for their continued support. Special appreciation went to the MassKara dancers for showcasing Filipino culture through their vibrant performances.
The 2024–2027 Executive Board includes Vice President Marisa Mundin, Treasurer Carmelita Fernandez, Second Treasurer Nora Lane, Secretary Leslie Castillo, Auditor Rebecca Aligado, Second Auditor Maricel Rocutan, and Public Relations Officer Mirasol Vega.
Other board members are Leah McKean, Ester Cheer Love, Marivi Sarmiento, Merlina Fayusal, Freddie Bagunu, Remed Delos Reyes, Jocelyn Hsin, and Carmelita Alitin. Advisers are Joel Castillo and Jose Jay Tayag.
UMCSBC celebrates ten years of friendship, cultural pride, teamwork, and community service, with a renewed commitment to making a positive difference.
