For members of the Pinoy Twilight Golf Club (PTGC), golf is more than a game. It is an opportunity to enjoy retirement, stay active and build lasting friendships.
Founded in the summer of 2019 by Noel Landigin and seven friends, PTGC brings together golfers who share a love of the sport and appreciate its physical and mental health benefits.
The club has since grown to 45 members, most of them seniors. Under the leadership of its current president, Chito Villanueva, PTGC continues to promote fellowship and participation on the fairways.
During the golfing season, members gather at Country Meadows Golf Course in Richmond, B.C., every Thursday at 2 p.m., weather permitting. Seniors interested in joining the group can meet fellow golfers, enjoy the outdoors and take part in a welcoming community.
The 2026 season brought memorable achievements, including holes-in-one by Oscar Trinidad, Chris Loredo and Ric Taguiam. Their remarkable shots earned them a special place among the club’s hole-in-one achievers.
PTGC also celebrated success in the Philippines. Represented by the PTGC and Country Meadows teams, the group participated in the 77th Philippine Airlines (PAL) Interclub Golf Tournament, held in Davao City in 2026. The PTGC team won the Senior Friendship Division, bringing home a proud achievement for the club.
With the golfing season now over, members can look back on a year of friendship, memorable rounds and accomplishments worth celebrating.
For seniors looking to stay active and connect with others, PTGC offers a simple invitation: come out, join the fun and enjoy the game.
See you on the fairways next season!
