In July 2026, Cyrill Jose “CJ” Lacaba was nominated and officially presented with the prestigious King Charles III Coronation Pin by Member of Parliament Randeep Sarai at Surrey City Hall. Recognized as a pillar of the Surrey community, CJ was chosen alongside 23 other distinguished figures—including prominent doctors, lawyers, and major philanthropists—and proudly stood as the sole honoree of Filipino heritage in this cohort.
Emergency Response & Bravery
CJ was specifically honored for his exceptional bravery and rapid action during the Lapu-Lapu Day Festival, where he stepped up as an immediate first responder to assist victims on the scene prior to the arrival of police and emergency services—an act of heroism that earned him commendation from local leadership.
