Land of Song? Where is it?

But you have burdened Me with your sins,
You have wearied Me with your iniquities.

25 “I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake;
And I will not remember your sins. Isaiah 43: 24, 25

Years ago, when I was young, we used to sing this song, “Where is the land of song, where’s the land of lasting rapture?” Perhaps one of you could remember snatches of the tune. In Paradise Regained, the theme of the Saviour’s love will be the constant theme of the saved and of the angels. Just as when God created the world, He asked Job where he was, the exact words He said were, “Who is this that obscures My plans with words without knowledge?3 Brace yourself like a man;
I will question you, and you shall answer me.

4 “Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation? Tell Me,, if you understand. 7. while the morning stars sang together and all the angels[a] shouted for joy? Job; 38:2,4, 7

So heaven will be a happy land, because in there, there will be no more sickness, suffering or death. The Bible says that God will wipe away the tears from our eyes. We could all be musicians because we will all be given golden harps and golden voices. No one would be out of tune there, no “silang” voices.

However, you can make a heaven on earth if you follow this Prescription for Joy. Brenda Walsh, in her devotional book STRENGTH FOR TODAY, June 23, 2026 she says, “Too often people hold on to hurt, pain, and anger as if that was somehow going to make them feel better. They tell the first person who will stop long enough to listen, and endlessly share all the intimate details of how they were mistreated. The bad thing about that is every time they talk about it, the pain just gets deeper and the pain more bitter. AS long as you are carrying around an anchor of pain, you cannot possibly be happy. And even worse—unless you forgive, God won’t forgive you!!!

The Bible says in Matthew 6: 15 (NIV), “But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.” Missing out on eternity is a pretty hefty price for holding on to pain! Even those who think they have forgiven, sometimes they fall into the Poor me trap and keep dredging up the pain, but as long as you insist on regurgitating all the bad things that have happened to you, you will not heal!!! It’s like having surgery, then ripping out your stitches over and over again—all the while clueless as to why you can’t seem to get well!!!

The PRESCRIPTION FOR JOY is this: forgive, forget and move on with Jesus!!!It is really that simple!!! Write that prescription down and put it on your fridge, on your Bible, on a sticky note stuck to the dash of your car, etc. and keep it there until it finally sinks in—Jesus is the only Healer of hearts!!!

Yes, Jesus is the joy of living, and He lives in the land of Song. He won’t remember your sins no more after He has forgiven it, thrown it into the depth of the sea, and posted a “ No Fishing ” sign on it.

He invites all who are willing to accept His invitation in Revelation 22: 12-14, NKJV. 12 “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the [a]Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.”14 Blessed are those who [b]do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.
