Dimasalang III International Artist Group Showcases New Works at Downtown Marché

VANCOUVER, BC – June 19, 2026 — Under clear blue skies and warm summer sunshine, the Dimasalang III International Artist Group delighted art enthusiasts and visitors at the Downtown Marché held at the Vancouver Art Gallery North Plaza. The free public event transformed the heart of downtown Vancouver into a vibrant celebration of visual arts, culture, music, and community spirit. 

Throughout the afternoon and evening, guests enjoyed an impressive collection of newly created artworks by some of the group’s talented members. The exhibition featured diverse styles, subjects, and techniques that reflected the creativity and artistic excellence for which the Dimasalang III International Artist Group is known. 

Participating artists included Leo Cunanan Jr., Edgardo Lantin, Noel Trinidad, Melani Payumo, Jo Ann Belen, Norman Belen, Charlie Frenal, Bert Morelos, Mayo Landicho, Francis Herradura, Anton Dizon, Mary Ann Manuel, Patricia de Jesus and Lovely Carandang. Each artist contributed unique perspectives and creative expressions, offering visitors an inspiring visual journey through landscapes, portraits, cultural themes, and contemporary interpretations. 

The festive atmosphere extended beyond the visual arts. Live musical entertainment added energy and excitement to the event, drawing crowds of art lovers, families, and passersby. Musicians Mayo and Leo entertained attendees with an engaging repertoire, while guest singers Larry and Rachel captivated the audience with their performances, creating a lively and welcoming ambiance throughout the day. 

Visitors spent time exploring the artwork displays, meeting the artists, and learning about their creative processes. Conversations flowed easily among artists and guests, strengthening the connection between the local arts community and the public. The event highlighted the important role that art plays in bringing people together and fostering cultural appreciation. 

The sunny weather provided the perfect backdrop for the outdoor showcase, allowing attendees to fully enjoy both the artistic presentations and musical performances. Many visitors expressed appreciation for the opportunity to experience original artworks in an accessible and community-centered setting. 

The Dimasalang III International Artist Group continues its long-standing tradition of promoting artistic excellence and cultural engagement through exhibitions and public events. The successful Downtown Marché showcase at the Vancouver Art Gallery demonstrated the group’s ongoing commitment to supporting artists while enriching Vancouver’s vibrant cultural landscape.
