The iconic Cosme family is making their comeback to the big screens as Home Along Da Riles: Da Reunion will premiere on June 17 in cinemas nationwide. On their official social media accounts, the official teaser for the highly anticipated reunion film was released on May 6, 2026.
The teaser shows the life of the Cosme family after the death of their patriarch, Kevin Cosme (portrayed by the late Comedy King Dolphy).
Veteran actress Nova Villa who will be reprising her role as Azon, opened the teaser with her longing for Kevin. The iconic house of the Cosme family along the railroad was seen shaking as a train approached.
“Kevin, ikaw lang naman ang buhay ko eh. Kailan mo ba ako susunduin?” she shared.
The teaser continued showing the lives of their children after all these years. Joining Nova in the cast are Claudine Barretto, Gio Alvarez, Vandolph, Smokey Manaloto, Boy2 Quizon, Maybelyn Dela Cruz, and Dang Cruz, among others.
“DA COMEBACK is real! Mula sa riles hanggang sa inyong mga puso, the legacy continues sa mas malaki at mas pinasayang comedy-drama reunion movie na kukumpleto sa 2026 niyo!” the official account stated in the caption.
Fans of the hit sitcom expressed their excitement as the official teaser was released. Other netizens shared how they missed the chemistry of the Cosme family.
Previously, the cast members have been teasing the return of Home Along Da Riles with Boy2 uploading a short clip of what the teaser showed.
“The legacy continues in 2026,” the teaser previously shared.
Home Along Da Riles was a sitcom aired on ABS-CBN from 1992 to 2003. The series tells the lives of the Cosme family and their neighbors who live beside the railroad tracks. It became one of the most-loved series on Philippine television, airing for more than a decade. (D. Acierto/ abs-cbn news)
