The True North Hinirang Eagles Club (TNHEC) and the True North Hinirang Lady Eagles Club (TNHLEC) successfully celebrated their 1st Chartering Anniversary and 1st Creation Anniversary, respectively, on April 18, 2026, at 5:00 PM. The event highlighted a year of meaningful service, unity, and growth within the Filipino-Canadian community.
Distinguished guests graced the occasion and delivered messages of support and inspiration. Among them were Maria Lourdes Capacio Imus, Founding Chairperson of the Anahaw Filipino Canadian Performing Arts Society in BC; Rob Nijar, Executive Director of the Sunset on Fraser Business Association; Lita Cabal, Candidate of Record for the Conservative Party of Canada; Noemi Victorino of the Social Equity, Livability and Public Safety Committee; Arcie Jose Lim, President of UFCABC; Paul Vincent Uy, Deputy Consul General of the Consulate General of the Republic of the Philippines; and Mable Elmore, Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Vancouver–Kensington.
In his remarks, Eagle James Mark Villamayor, President of TNHEC, together with Lady Eagle Roae Mary Ranes-Villamayor, President of TNHLEC, expressed their sincere appreciation to all members of the organization for their unwavering support and active participation. They emphasized that the success of the celebration reflects the strong bond of brotherhood and sisterhood within the club.
The anniversary celebration underscored the organizations’ continuing commitment to community service, cultural unity, and civic engagement. As the clubs move forward, they remain dedicated to uplifting the community and embodying the values of service and solidarity.
