“The Fil-Can Intercity Golf Tournament was held in Winnipeg, Manitoba from July 23–26, bringing together eight teams from across Canada. Led by Team Captain Jessie Castillo and Assistant Captains Art Makalintal and Renato Cusi, Team Coquitlam, tied for second place after two days of play, rallied on the final day with an impressive 14 wins, 1 tie, and only 3 losses to secure the championship. On top of the team victory, members of Team Coquitlam also brought home numerous individual awards, making the triumph even sweeter.”
