Following the tragic events in Tumbler Ridge on Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2026, books of condolence are available for British Columbians to express their sympathies and messages of support.

People may sign a book of condolence at the Hall of Honour, Parliament Buildings, Victoria. The book will be accessible on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., from now until Friday, Feb. 20, 2026.

The online book is the easiest and most convenient way for people to pay their respects. It will remain open until end of day on Friday, Feb. 20, 2026.
