Surrey, BC — Lita Cabal, Filipino-Canadian community leader and Conservative Candidate of Record, together with her family, hosted an intimate Filipino-Canadian Conservative Christmas gathering bringing together community members and distinguished guests for an evening of fellowship, dialogue, and shared purpose.
The special guests of the evening included Senator Yonah Martin, accompanied by her husband Doug Martin, and Member of Parliament for Langley Township–Fraser Heights, Tako Van Popta. The gathering provided a meaningful opportunity for open conversation, community updates, and discussion on how Filipino-Canadians can continue to have their voices heard in Parliament.
Throughout the evening, attendees engaged in thoughtful exchanges on issues important to the community, the role of civic participation, and the importance of representation grounded in shared values, service, and faith. The warm Christmas setting fostered connection, encouragement, and unity among those present.
