The United Architects of the Philippines – British Columbia Chapter (UAP-BC) held its first exhibit showcasing selected works of its members in Canada on December 4, 2025, at the Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver. The exhibit, titled “Architectural Works of Filipino Architects in Canada,” formed part of the Philippine Architectural Festival – National Architectural Month, a celebration observed in the Philippines and adopted by various UAP chapters worldwide during the month of December.

The event was graced by the Consul General, H.E. Dr. Gina A. Jamoralin, who delivered an inspiring message highlighting the significance of Philippine architecture and cultural identity. She also led the ribbon-cutting ceremony that officially opened the exhibit. Present during the event were UAP-BC Chapter President Lyn Bernabe-Ramos, Executive Vice President Edna Avenido-Lim, and several officers and directors of the organization. Former UAP-BC Chapter Presidents Joe Larano and Antonio Rigor likewise attended the occasion.

The architectural works featured in the exhibit form part of the professional portfolios of participating members of the United Architects of the Philippines – British Columbia Chapter. These materials were presented solely to showcase each member’s involvement or contribution to the respective projects during their employment or engagement with the architectural firms responsible for the works. All drawings, images, renderings, models, concepts, and other design materials displayed remain the exclusive intellectual property of the firms, companies, or institutions for which the exhibiting members previously worked or are currently employed.
