The Grupo Ilocano Association of BC (GIABC) hosted its successful Christmas Party on December 7th at the Royal Palace Banquet Hall in Burnaby—a warm, memorable celebration that highlighted the unity and festive spirit of the Ilocano and Filipino community. The success of the event reflects the collective dedication, cooperation, and goodwill of all who offered their time and support.

President Ana Napieralski of Grupo Ilocano opened the program with an inspiring message.

GIABC extends its deepest appreciation to the community leaders and special guests who honoured the occasion with their presence. Their participation added significance to the celebration and reinforced the strong partnerships within the wider community. A special acknowledgment was given to Writers International Network President Ashok Bhargava for his valued support.

The association also expresses sincere gratitude to its generous sponsors, including Lori May, Ana, Vanzz, Virgie Espadero, Cecilia Campos, Lourdes, Adelfa, Ate Cora, Ate Baby Alitin, Ate Bebeluz, Nora, Ester, Myrna, and many others who continue to share their blessings. GIABC further extends its special thanks to Marlon and Maylani Parrel, Roel and Maricel Betnardino, Joe and Shirley Andallo, along with other committed partners for their unwavering assistance.

The evening emcees – Kenji and Myrna, some musical entertainment from DJs Raffy and Roger, and performance numbers by Edz, Cherrie, Apple, the Mascara dancers, GIABC dancers, and the Youngsters Adings dancers.

GIABC conveys its heartfelt appreciation to all volunteers, guests, friends, and members whose contributions made the celebration truly meaningful. As the association moves forward, Grupo Ilocano Association of BC reaffirms its commitment to promoting Ilocano culture and strengthening its membership across British Columbia, ensuring that traditions, unity, and community service continue to thrive.
