MANILA, Philippines — “Star for All Seasons” Vilma Santos and Dennis Trillo, and their respective films “Uninvited” and “Green Bones,” are the big winners at the recently concluded 41st Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) Star Awards for Movies.
Vilma received her 10th Best Actress award from PMPC for the Metro Manila Film Festival 2024 entry movie “Uninvited.”
“Definitely I feel so, so happy. Every time nabibigyan ka ng pagkilala, it’s a different high kasi kahit papaano na-acknowledge na you did something good. So sa PMPC, maraming-maraming salamat sa tiwala,” she said in her acceptance speech.
Her “Uninvited co-star, Aga Muhlach, shared the Movie Actor of the Year award with Dennis Trillo, who won for his portrayal of a convict with a tragic past in Zig Dulay’s “Green Bones.” Both “Green Bones” and “Uninvited” were competing entries at last year’s MMFF.
The Movie Love Team of the Year was awarded to Francine Diaz and Seth Fedelin, the stars of “My Future You,” which is also an entry to the MMFF last year.
