Noemi Victorino is a proud Surrey resident, and she has always been passionate about building meaningful connections and serving her community.
Guided by a deep commitment to servant leadership, she has consistently dedicated her career and personal life to public service and positive social impact.
In the upcoming 2026 municipal elections, Noemi is hoping she can carry on with her public service by securing a seat in Surrey city council.
Noemi is hoping for support from within and outside the Filipino community in her bid to run for Surrey city councillor next year.
Noemi has an impressive track record of service in government and non-government sectors.
Within the federal government, Noemi held a variety of roles spanning administration, facilities project management, and enforcement. Most notably, she served as a Senior Officer of Trade Compliance with the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), where she skillfully navigated complex compliance verifications across Canada and the United States.
After years of public service, Noemi chose to redirect her expertise toward her other passion helping others. Since 2019, she has held executive and leadership positions in nonprofit organizations that have touched thousands of lives through initiatives addressing food insecurity, employment support, mental health, and homelessness.
Deeply engaged in her community, Noemi has served as an Ambassador for Chamber of Commerce, and was a member of Soroptimist International, an organization dedicated to empowering women and girls. She has also held key leadership positions, including secretary/treasurer for Business Network International and secretary for Senior Professional Services.
Currently, Noemi serves as executive director of Harvest for Hope, a nonprofit organization providing meals to individuals and families within and beyond Surrey. She also contributes her expertise as a member of the City of Surrey’s Social Equity, Livability, and Public Safety Committee.
Grounded yet forward-looking, Noemi and her family remain optimistic about the future. She is steadfast in ensuring that every voice is heard and that meaningful action follows words. Her record of service speaks for itself a testament to her belief in achieving real, lasting results rather than offering empty promises.
