The Anahaw Filipino Canadian Performing Arts Society in BC, led by President Malou Capacio Imus, successfully held its Victory Party 2025 on October 31, 2025. The evening was a joyful celebration of achievements, talent, and unity — showcasing the best of Filipino artistry and community spirit.
The event’s highlights included an exciting Fashion Show, dance performances, and singing numbers that made the night very entertaining. Among the featured performers was Apple Plata, whose singing number drew applause from guests. While the Fashion Show portion celebrated creativity and confidence, with participants proudly wearing Fall Season inspired Filipino and modern costumes.
One of the judges for the Fashion Show was Master Sculptor and Painter Raymon Maliwat, whose artistic expertise added prestige to the selection of winners.
Throughout the evening, members and guests enjoyed a showcase of music, and dance. The Victory Party served not only as a celebration of Anahaw’s milestones but also as a tribute to the dedication and teamwork of its members and supporters.
“Anahaw is more than a performing group — it’s a family bound by culture, creativity, and purpose,” said President Malou Capacio Imus on her opening remarks. “This celebration honors everyone who continues to share their passion and talent for the community.”
