Filipino tennis sensation Alex Eala looked back on a successful WTA season it has been for her this year. In her Instagram account, the professional athlete expressed her gratitude towards everyone that supported her journey.

Alex has achieved a massive feat this year as she entered the semifinals of the Miami Open as a wildcard, winning WTA 125 title in the Guadalajara 125 Open, and entering the WTA’s Top 100–– marking the first Filipina to do such–– among many others.

“My season comes to an end🥹 I have no words to describe what 2025 has brought me. My dreams have truly come alive,” she wrote.

She shared several photos in her post which included some of the highlights of her 2025 season run.

“It’s such a privilege to look back at this year and relive these amazing moments through memory,” she added.

The 20-year-old Filipino tennis superstar shared that this season was dedicated to everyone–– including her younger self. This included all the emotions that came with it–– from the highs until the lows.

“All that’s happened this season and the emotions that come with it is a love letter to my family, friends, team, every supporter across my journey in tennis, and of course, baby Alex,” she expressed.

Alex then shared how she is hopeful for the seasons that will follow this one as she prepares for the 2026 WTA season after her well-deserved rest.

“This marks the beginning of what I hope to be a long, happy and fruitful career on tour! Thank you everybody, see you in 2026,” she ended.

Friends and fans of the professional athlete sent their congratulatory messages and words of encouragement in the comment section. Fans from all over the world shared how excited they are to see her flourish in the tennis scene in the coming years.

It was earlier this week when it was reported that she broke into No. 50 at the latest edition of the WTA rankings–– the highest a Filipina player has gotten. This is Alex’s career-high and is one spot higher than her previous ranking.

She is set to represent the country this coming December at the Southeast Asian Games in Thailand. (d. Acierto/push tteam/abs-cbn)
