Fresh off her “America’s Got Talent” Season 20 win, Filipino-American singer Jessica Sanchez is now celebrating another milestone, becoming a mom.
In a heartfelt post on social media on October 18, the “American Idol” Season 11 alum introduced her daughter with husband Rickie Gallardo to the world.
“Eliana Mae Gallardo, born on October 13, 2025,” the post read.
“From one dream season to the next. This time, the most precious one yet,” Jessica said.
“We are grateful beyond words for our baby girl, for the gift of motherhood, and for the love that grows deeper every day,” she concluded.
Filipino fans quickly picked up on the name’s cultural familiarity, pointing out how “Mae” is a common second name among Filipinos.
“Ang Pinoy ng name ng baby mo ate ko haha,” an X commented.
“Congrats, mare! Very Pinoy ang name,” another wrote.
“‘Mae’ very Pinay hahaha,” an X user also said.
“Awww the Name ‘MAE’ is soo Filipino and I love it,” one wrote.
“The baby [is] so pretty. Her name is very Filipino,” another commented.
Jessica gave birth weeks after she won “America’s Got Talent” in September.
