2025 Seoul International Drama Awards Outstanding Asian Star awardee from the Philippines Daniel Padilla graced the red carpet of the annual event at the KBS Hall in Seoul, South Korea.
Daniel, who wore a three-piece pinstripe suit designed by Ryan Viloria and Gekko Studios, was welcomed by cheers from Pinoy and some Korean fans.
“Awkward, daming tao,” says DJ who appreciated the fans who cheered for him during the short program. “Siyempre, yun naman ang pinunta natin dito. Okay naman!”
Karla Estrada, who also flew to Seoul to watch the awards night said this is a proud moment for her and the whole family. “Speechless ako, sobrang one of my proudest moments, nakakatuwa saka kinikilig pati mga Koreans.”
During the ceremonies, Daniel received the Outstanding Asian Star award together with other asian stars Film Mahawan from Thailand, Kentaro Sakaguchi from Japan and Anna Jobling from Malaysia.
During his acceptance speech, Daniel thanked the team behind his successful action-drama series ‘Incognito,’ from ABS-CBN executives, co-stars and the fans who voted for him in the SDA poll.
“Good evening everyone, first and foremost, thank you Lord, I’m truly honored to be here tonight to receive this award, thank you so much Seoul International Drama Awards for this recognition. I want to thank my ‘Incognito’ and Star Creatives family, Ms. Des de Guzman, our directors Lester Pimentel, Wong Yan Bin, and Ian Lorenos. I also want to thank my co-stars, Ian Veneracion, Richard Gutierrez, Baron Geisler, Anthony Jennings, Maris Racal, and Kaila Estrada.”
“Our stunt team for Action 360, our tactical instructors, Benjo Ramos and Patrick Caballero, my Star Magic family and home network, ABS-CBN. I also want to thank my friends and my family for their endless support and unconditional love. Mama, I made it.”
