James Mark C. Villamayor was born on June 22, 1988, in Baler, Aurora, Philippines. He is the son of Benjamin P. Villamayor and the late Gloria C. Villamayor, both of whom served as dedicated government employees. He has two siblings, Zyrene (deceased) and Yna.

James Mark’s educational journey started at Baler Central School, where he completed his elementary education. He then graduated from Mount Carmel College for his secondary studies. To develop his technical skills, he earned an Associate’s Degree in Computer Science from St. Thomas Institute of Technology in Cabanatuan City.

He furthered his studies by obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and completing a Teacher Certificate Program with Values Education units at Mount Carmel College. Committed to continuous learning, he pursued two master’s degrees: a Master in Management with a focus on Business Management from Aurora State College of Technology, and a Master in Public Administration, specializing in Educational and Instructional Management, from Metro Dagupan College.

James Mark’s dedication to education culminated in earning a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Management from Dr. Gloria D. Lacson Foundation College.

His academic pursuits also took him overseas to Canada, where he enrolled in a Business Management program at Vancouver Community College. Although he completed only half of the program’s four terms, he also earned a Diploma in Ordained Ministry from the Canadian Christian Ministry.

Professionally, James Mark has held various leadership roles, including serving as a Council Scout Executive, where he led the Scouting program in Aurora Province for seven years. During this period, he also trained Drum and Lyre bands at both elementary and high school levels. He then taught for nearly six years as a permanent faculty member at Baler National High School.

Currently residing in Canada, James Mark continues to exercise his leadership skills as President of the True North Hinirang Eagles Club. Aside from being a leader and educator, he serves as a pastor at Word of Hope Church. Additionally, he is a published author of the motivational book Lifestyle: Embracing Your Life Purpose as a Youth According to the Gospel of Christ, and contributes spiritual articles to ReyFort Media under the Word of Hope section.
