The Ateneo Alumni Association of British Columbia (AAABC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Gigi Grey-Ricarse as president for the fiscal year 2025-2026. With a deep commitment to the values of the Ateneo community, Gigi expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to lead and collaborate with a dedicated board of fellow Ateneans. The board includes Heidi Ng-Liang as Vice President, Denice Piloton as Treasurer, and Anna Cagaoan as Secretary. Additionally, the team comprises Maria Poe, Lauren Luy, Reynold Orogo, Eugene Piezas, Albert Algas, Emir Bautista, Ryan Ferrer, Luis Dapat, and Jake De Guzman. This diverse group features six members from Ateneo de Davao University, six from Ateneo de Manila University, and one from Ateneo de Zamboanga University.
The AAABC invites all Ateneans in British Columbia to join the association, highlighting the significance of fostering connections and supporting the education of Ateneo scholars in the Philippines through various fundraising initiatives. This year, the AAABC aims to strengthen community engagement and create exceptional opportunities for Ateneans to embody the spirit of being “Men and Women for Others.”
