The Brotherhood Basketball Cup 2025 was inaugurated with initial games on Sunday noon, September 14th at the St. Bernadette School Gym in Surrey.
In 2006, BBA was organized by brothers within the Couples for Christ (CFC) community in the Vancouver Chapter to promote brotherhood and bonding within CFC brothers and their families, as well as to have a weekly recreational sports activity for a good cause.
Teams were formed from each of the Greater Vancouver Area consisting of active CFC members. The league is proud supporter of Answering the Cry of The Poor (ANCOP) with fundraising efforts through weekly food concessions and sponsorship. All proceeds from these sales are donated to ANCOP.
In 2019, the league started sponsoring a child through ANCOP’s child sponsorship program and still continuing to the present. Games are being held at starting at noontime at the St. Bernadette School Gym from September 14 to November 30, 2025. The ten participating teams are SB2 Revere (formerly IC Delta), St. Bee Blaze, Good Shepherd, JP Velasco Real Estate, St. Paul Crusaders, OLGC Saints, Raquel Narraway Realtors Samaritans, SC2 Lima Eyewear,
