The Mixed Media and Music Artists Society of BC (M3ASBC) held a successful 6-day art exhibit, “The Healing Touch,” at Metrotown Banquet Hall in Burnaby. The event began on August 10, 2025, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by City of Burnaby Acting Mayor James Wang, Councillor Maita Santiago, and Philippine Vice Consul Marco Harder.
In solidarity with the community following a recent tragedy, the exhibit celebrated Filipino resilience and featured works by 12 local artists, singers, and performers, as well as paintings from the Philippines. Marking the society’s first anniversary since its launch at Formby backyard, M3ASBC expressed gratitude for community support and the gallery venue provided by the City of Burnaby through the Pinoy Festival Alliance.
The exhibit closed with a dinner and dance, highlighting Filipino creativity and musicality. M3ASBC plans to continue promoting arts and music in the community and beyond.
