MANILA — Actress Janella Salvador has reacted to rumors romantically linking her to actress Klea Pineda.
Speaking to reporters at the sidelines of the media conference of the 21st Cinemalaya, Salvador, who was with Pineda and fellow stars of the movie “Open Endings,” finally addressed the issue and also clarified that she was not the reason behind the breakup of Pineda and long-time girlfriend Katrice Kierulf.
“Feeling ko hindi ito ‘yung tamang venue to talk about personal matters. Pero kung ano ‘yung nakikita niyo, ‘yun na ‘yon. And, para lang maging klaro, sabi ko kasi magsasalita ako at the right time, eto na ‘yon. Hindi po ako part ng breakup. Hindi po ako third party. I’d like to exclude myself from that. And, ayun lang, kung ano ‘yung nakikita niyo ‘yun na ‘yon,” Salvador said.
Pressed if she and Salvador were together, Pineda said, “Kung ano ang nakikita niyo online or kahit saan, ‘yun na ‘yon. Basta masaya kami together.”
In an interview last month, Pineda put an end to the rumor that Salvador was the reason behind her split with Kieruff.
Pineda revealed her breakup with Kieruff in July.
Pineda also shared that she started to become close to Salvador while doing “Open Endings”, a finalist in this year’s Cinemalaya Festival. (abs-cbn news)
