Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth—to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people— saying with a loud voice, “Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.”                                                                                             REVELATION 14: 6,7 NKJV Not all the people of the world will follow God’s commands nor His advice. Through Noah, God told the antediluvian masses about a coming flood, but the people refused to believe. Even some of those who helped build the Ark stopped helping and began to jeer at him. They refused his invitation to get into the ark even if they saw the animals, birds, and other creatures enter the ark with Noah and his family before God closed the door. After seven days, the rain began to fall, the waters rose to flood levels and only then did they realize their peril, but it was too late. This will be like the end of the world. There will be people who will not believe or obey God’s commandments.

The twelfth Fundamental Belief of the Seventh-day Adventist Church is, “The universal church is composed of all who truly believe in Christ, but in the last days, a time of widespread apostasy, a remnant has been called out to keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. This remnant announces the arrival of the judgment hour, proclaims salvation through Christ, and heralds the approach of His second advent. The three angels of Revelation 14 symbolize this proclamation.  It coincides with the work of judgment in heaven, and results in a work of repentance and reform on earth. Every believer is called to have a personal part in this worldwide witness.” (Acts 1: 8)

The Bible proclaims that Christ is the head of the church, and the gates of hell cannot prevail against it because He is the infallible Head. He prophesied that His adherents would be persecuted. Satan is behind all these persecutions because he hates Christ, and those who remain faithful to Christ are his targets, because he can no longer do any harm to Jesus, so he will do his utmost to destroy Christ’s church on earth. During the Middle Ages, millions of God’s people lost their lives, and this will continue until Jesus comes back to redeem His saints. But He promised that even if His people lose their lives here on earth, they will be resurrected and live forever with Him. (John 3: 15; 14: 1-3)

Let me share with you  this message from a Christian writer whom you met before, Brenda Walsh. She wrote about a God-pleasing Life. She began with this Scripture in Ezekiel 36: 27I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them. “People who have accomplished much in their lives tend to be goal-oriented. They have specific goals in mind and then work very hard to reach them. Some goals are driven by selfish motives,  but the goals of a Christian are different than others. When you surrender your dreams and goals to God, He will accomplish great things in you and through you. Before choosing your goal, ask for wisdom by praying, “Lord, is this what You have in mind for me?Is this the path You want me to follow?” As long as you are following God’s plan for your life—you just can’t go wrong! The Bible says in Psalm 37:23, NKJV, “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way”.  Choose the goal of living a God-pleasing life! It is only when you are following God’s goals that you will be truly happy and experience the abundant life God wants you to have. Ask Jesus for divine appointments throughout your day and then listen to the Holy Spirit’s leading as He guides and directs. You will experience incredible joy when you turn your life over to Him. Keep your eyes on the heavenly goal and receive the ultimate reward of eternal life with your Lord and Saviour.”

Start the day write by reading your Bible and praying for God’s divine guidance. Let Him guide you through difficult verses in the Bible, and don’t let your own ideas of what they meant influence you. Psalm 119: 105 (God’s Word Translation) “Your word is a lamp for my feet
and a light for my path.” Amen.
