MANILA — The on-screen tandem of Kapamilya stars Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino will continue as they are set to star again in the upcoming project “The Alibi.”
This was announced by ABS-CBN’s Dreamscape Entertainment on Wednesday, June 18, via a social media post.
In the post, the show producer uploaded photos showing Avelino’s and Chiu’s characters as Vincent Cabrera and Marie Morales, respectively.
“The Alibi’ was written by Danica Mae Domingo and will be directed by FM Reyes and Jojo Saguin.
“The Alibi” marks the fourth collaboration of Avelino and Chiu.
The two first worked together in the hit series “Linlang” which was released in 2023 on Prime Video before it was aired on free TV in early 2024.
After “Linlang,” Chiu and Avelino starred in “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim,” the Philippine adaptation of the hit South Korean drama.
After doing two series together, they paired up in their first movie project “My Love Will Make You Disappear,” which was released in cinemas last March. (R. deveza/abs-cbn)
