New York, USA – June 2025 — Boxing legend Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao has officially been inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame, receiving one of the sport’s highest honors and further solidifying his legacy as one of the greatest boxers of all time.

In an emotional and widely celebrated ceremony held in Canastota, New York, Pacquiao was honored not only for his unparalleled achievements in the ring but also for the global inspiration he has become throughout his career.

Pacquiao, the only boxer in history to win world titles in eight different weight divisions, thanked his fans, trainers, and the Filipino people during his acceptance speech. “This is not just my award,” he said. “This is for every Filipino who dared to dream. I may be standing here alone, but I carry the strength, prayers, and hopes of my country with me.”

The Hall of Fame recognition came alongside a rare distinction—Pacquiao was named among the greatest boxers of all time by several major boxing organizations and sports historians, citing his explosive speed, powerful punches, and relentless work ethic. His career record of 62 wins, 8 losses, and 2 draws, including 39 knockouts, is regarded as one of the most decorated in the sport.

From his humble beginnings in General Santos City, Philippines, to fighting in the biggest boxing arenas in the world, Pacquiao’s journey has inspired millions. Beyond the ring, he served his country as a senator and philanthropist, helping countless communities rise above poverty.

“His impact goes beyond titles and belts,” said Hall of Fame chairman Ed Brophy. “Pacquiao represents the heart of boxing—resilience, humility, and greatness.”

The celebration was attended by fellow boxing champions, fans from around the world, and Filipino dignitaries, all united in honoring a man whose name will forever be etched in the annals of sports history.

As he stood at the Hall of Fame podium, Pacquiao ended his speech with words that resonated far beyond boxing: “Champions are not made by punches alone, but by the courage to rise again and again. Never stop dreaming.”
