Rey Fortaleza is a celebrated Filipino-Canadian former boxer who gained international recognition by representing the Philippines in the 1976 Montreal Olympics. Coming from a family of boxers, Rey was known for his quick footwork and tactical prowess in the ring. He earned numerous national titles and was part of a generation of highly respected Filipino amateur fighters.

After retiring from boxing, Rey immigrated to Canada, where he shifted focus from sports to community building and entrepreneurship. He remained closely tied to his Filipino roots while working to uplift immigrant voices.

In Canada, Rey established ReyFort Media, a media and communications company that focuses on serving multicultural communities—especially Filipino-Canadians. The company operates in multimedia content creation, advertising, and community storytelling. One of its flagship initiatives is producing documentary-style videos, events coverage, and promotional campaigns for local businesses and cultural organizations.
