Janice Lozano, affectionately known as Vancouver’s Sweetheart of Songs, is a seasoned TV Host, Vocal Artist, and Community Volunteer with decades of experience in the Canadian and Filipino Entertainment industry. She is the CEO of Pinoy Buzz, a pioneering Filipino-Canadian talk show in Vancouver that has featured local and international celebrities including Lea Salonga, Martin Nievera, and Ginuwine. Janice has also produced and hosted numerous high-profile concerts and events across British Columbia, and collaborated with acclaimed artists such as Michael Bublé, Arnel Pineda, and Charice.

Her musical journey began at age three, and she quickly rose to prominence—becoming YTV Canada’s first BC Regional Winner  and performing as a guest soloist at major televised sporting events, including the 1994 Grey Cup and Baseball Classic ’94. She has received numerous accolades, including a Richmond School Board Award of Recognition and the IPEN “Most Beautiful Filipinos in Canada” Award for her contributions to music and youth empowerment.

Now celebrating her 10th year as Regional Director of the World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA), Janice oversees Western and Northern Canada, where her leadership has produced international grand champions for Team Canada. As a talent scout and mentor, her keen eye for excellence and deep passion for youth development have elevated Canadian talents to the world stage. Beyond entertainment, Janice is also tireless community advocate, serving as Secretary of the United Filipino Canadian Associations in British Columbia (UFCABC)-a coalition of over 82 Filipino Organizations across the province for the past ten years. Through every challenge and triumph, she remains a unifying force, uplifting Filipino heritage and identity in Canada with grace, strength, and unwavering dedication.
