Gerry Saguin

A community builder and organizer with 35 years of experience in Canada, Gerry Saguin currently serves as the President of the Filipino Fiesta Society of Lethbridge AB and the Executive Director of Lethbridge Fiesta Extravaganza.
His commitment to the Filipino community began in Richmond, BC, where he immigrated in 1991 after five years in Seattle, WA, USA. In Richmond, Gerry was involved in media, including the launch of Philippine Asian News Today and the Philippine Journal, and later created and hosted the “Mr. Batchoy” comedy cooking show. Gerry moved his family to Lethbridge, AB during the COVID-19 pandemic. He is married to Joy and has two children, Rene (18) and Patricia (13).
