Bella Balisi-Bevilacqua is a highly skilled professional from the University of the Philippines, now based in Burnaby, British Columbia. She finished with a double-major degree in Political Science and Psychology. She has over 20 years of experience in Organizational Development, Quality Management, and strategic consulting. Bella has worked across diverse industries, including business process outsourcing, fast-moving consumer goods, and quick-service restaurants. Maribel specializes in data analysis, process innovation, management training programs, and organizational development strategies. Recently, her focus has shifted toward forensics and non-profit initiatives, particularly through her involvement with the Burnaby Citizens Association, where she contributed to the success of the 2022 municipal elections.

She has worked with major organizations such as Jollibee Foods Corporation, IBM, eBay Canada and Australia, and 7-Eleven. She has a proven track record in project management, workforce planning, and organizational psychology. Her ability to strategize, innovate, and implement change has been central to her work. Her achievements include launching the online student evaluation system at the Technological Institute of the Philippines, spearheading training programs at 7-Eleven Philippines, and working on the textual blueprint for proposing the establishment of Jollibee’s Online Food Delivery.

In addition to her professional expertise, Bella is a dedicated volunteer and community leader. She served as President of the University of the Philippines Alumni Association in British Columbia (UPAABC) for 2023-2024. She was recently appointed Auditor for the United Filipino-Canadian Associations of British Columbia (UFCABC). Her volunteer work extends to campaign coordination and management of cultural events, underscoring her commitment to social impact and community engagement. Bella continues her education, focusing on forensic investigation at the British Columbia Institute of Technology, reinforcing her passion for crime analysis and social justice.

On the side, Bella is a regular writer-columnist for Philippine Asian News Today (Rey Fort Media). Her writing history began when she was just nine years old, starting with competitions in divisional, regional, and national events for essays, features, editorials, and opinion pieces. She has served as Editor-in-Chief of The Beacon, Senior Writer for Outcrop, and the launching Editor-in-Chief of The UPAABC Hive. Recently, she signed a book deal.
